Role Summary
Represent business owners and buyers in confidential Main Street and lower middle market transactions. Each broker develops a protected local territory aligned with the 909Brokers national platform.
Responsibilities
- Prospect local business owners, referral partners, buyers, CPAs, attorneys, bankers and commercial real estate contacts.
- Help owners prepare confidential listings, BOVLs, valuation requests, NDA workflows and buyer screening.
- Manage buyer and seller communication through CRM, email, phone, Zoom and structured follow-up.
- Coordinate with internal support for listings, referrals, diligence, marketing, valuations and transaction tracking.
- Own a territory as the local expert and report pipeline activity through weekly check-ins.
Qualifications
- Sales ability, professional communication and strong follow-through.
- Local market knowledge or willingness to build local territory expertise.
- Comfort with CRM, email, spreadsheets, web forms and remote collaboration.
- Brokerage, real estate, M&A, finance, insurance, accounting or business ownership experience helpful but not required.
- Self-directed, ethical, confidential and comfortable with commission-based upside.
Compensation / Structure
Compensation may vary by role and may include commission, contractor fees, referral economics, part-time compensation, project-based work, equity/partner-track opportunities, or future full-time salary depending on role, performance and company stage.
